These Web UI pages provide a view into central configuration of the regional cluster. These pages are available only to administrators assigned the central-cfg-admin role. This role can centrally manage local server clusters and routers, virtual private network (VPN) properties, DHCP scope templates, policies, client-classes, and failover server pairs.
This page lists the local server clusters. It is available only to administrators assigned the central-cfg-admin role. Each server cluster forms a top level tree node, and is expandable to show the child nodes of individual local cluster servers (DNS, DHCP, TFTP, CCM/MCD, and server agent). To expand the tree, click the plus sign (+) to the left of the cluster name.
You can click each cluster name to open its Edit Server Cluster page. You can also click the Go Local icon () to open the Manage Servers page in the local cluster's Web UI. (NOTE: If authentication to the local cluster fails, you first get the login screen for the local Web UI.) Click the Go Regional icon (
) at the top of the local cluster Manage Servers page to return to the regional cluster Web UI.
NOTE: If you log out of the local cluster after connecting to it, you return to the regional cluster.
The columns on this page are:
Column | Description |
Name | Name of the cluster. These clusters are created on the Add Server Cluster page. Once expanded (using +), the cluster list shows the local servers on the cluster. Edit the cluster by clicking the cluster name to open the Edit Server Cluster page. You can also view the related servers for a DHCP server by clicking the Related Servers icon (![]() |
Connect | Click the Go Local icon (![]() ![]() |
Type | Cluster or Server. |
IP Address | IP address of the cluster. |
SCP Port | SCP port of the cluster, usually 1234. |
Refresh the list whenever possible. There are four additional functions on this page:
Synchronization is configuring a regional and local cluster so that they can work together in a unified fashion. The main steps of synchronization are:
Synchronization occurs once when setting up a local cluster. If you get an error message during synchronization, check that the local cluster is running properly or has the proper base licenses.
Replication is copying the authoritative data from a master server to a replica database. These include zones, scopes, address blocks, subnets, policies, scope templates, client-classes, and VPNs. The main steps in this operation are:

The attributes on this page are:
Attribute | Description |
name | Name of the cluster. Required. |
fqdn | Descriptive field only; use the ipaddr field to identify the cluster's IP address. Optional. |
ipaddr | IP address of the cluster. Required. |
admin | Administrator username to access the cluster. This administrator should be a superuser at the local cluster. Required. |
password | Administrator password to access the cluster. This administrator should be a superuser at the local cluster. Required. |
scp-port | SCP port of the cluster, usually 1234. Required. |
use-ssl | Used for secure connections with local clusters. The values are disabled, optional, and required. When set to optional or required, you can make or receive SSL connections only if the Network Registrar Communications Security Option installed. |
The additional cluster attributes that you can set, such as HTTP ports and polling, appear in separate categories on this page. Note that using the HTTPS port is disabled by default. Click any attribute name to open a help window describing it.
The replication settings are for setting the interval and time offsets for data replication of the local clusters on the regional cluster. By default, the CCM server polls the replica data as a background process every four hours. If the local and regional cluster servers are separated by time zones, use the poll-replica-offset value to account for it. The replication-initialized value shows if replication is initialized once the clusters are synchronized.
For details on the subnet utilization and lease history polling attributes, see Querying Subnet Utilization and Querying Lease History.
When you finish, click Add Cluster, or Cancel to cancel. Adding clusters effectively synchronizes the local cluster server and registers the local CCM servers for single sign-on. You return to the List Server Clusters page. Refresh that page before choosing any items for editing.

This page lists the routers accessible from the regional cluster. This function is available only if the router license is entered, and it is accessible only by administrators assigned the ric-management subrole of a central-cfg-admin role.
The tree levels are the routers, their parent router interfaces, and any child interfaces. Parent/child relationships can be either physical/virtual (as in Cable2/0 and Cable2/0.1) or master/slave (as in the case of router interface bundling, where the bundle is identified by one of the interfaces).
The routers must be one of the Cisco routers in the family Ubr72xx or Ubr10k.
The columns on this page are:
Column | Description |
Name | Name of the router and its interfaces, as a tree. These routers are created on the Add Router page. Once expanded (using +), the router shows its physical/virtual interfaces or master/slave relationships. You can click the router name to open the Edit Router page, and a router interface to open the Edit Router Interface page. |
Type | Type of router -- Ubr72xx or Ubr10k. |
Address | IP address of the router. |
Primary Subnet | IP address of the primary subnet on the router interface. |
Description | Description of the router, where available. |
Refresh the list whenever possible. Note that the page shows only up to the number of router entries indicated in the Change Page Size field. To step through all the entries, click the arrow icons.

At the regional cluster, this page displays the DHCP failover server pairs created at the local clusters and discovered upon replication, or created on the regional server to be pushed down to the local cluster. This and the related pages are available only to regional administrators assigned the dhcp-management subrole of the central-cfg-admin role.
Note that failover pairs show up in this list if they were set up using the server or scope failover attributes when editing the local cluster DHCP server attributes or creating or editing a local cluster scope. Be sure to set at least the following on the Edit DHCP Server or Edit DHCP Scope page, then reload the DHCP server:
At the regional cluster, you can name the failover pair any unique string.

Scope Template | Choose from the drop-down list the scope template to use for the failover pair, as set up on the List DHCP Scope Templates page. Optional. |
Subnets | Include in the Selected field the subnets to specify the subnets to include for the failover pair, as set up on the List/Add Subnets page. Move the desired value or values from the Available field to the Selected field. Optional. |
You can set additional attributes in the Additional Attributes section by expanding the section and adding values to the desired attributes. Click an attribute name to open a help window describing the attribute. Some of these attributes relate to polling subnet utilization and lease history data, including whether to poll these first from the main or backup server. The server-default attribute is set by default to make this a server-level failover pair.
